Summary
The Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Process, a key component of the CAA, is once again active after a pause was issued February 24, 2023 for payments applicable after October 25, 2022.
- The IDR process was established as a vehicle for providers and plans to settle payment disputes.
- On March 17th, certified IDR entities were instructed to resume making payment determination for disputes involving items and services on or after October 25, 2022.
- Government entities have updated the IDR Portal where notices on payment determination will be available.
